Bio
Hi. I'm Cathy. I'm 43 years old and live in Pa. I am married for over 20 years and am mom to an 11 year old boy.
I have 2 cats Krystel and Blossom and a dog (West Highland White Terrier) Ridley. I am a Registered nurse but am not currently working as a nurse. I am an Herbalife Distributor and do courthouse reserach. I have chosen to be my own boss to keep stress levels low. I love all kinds of crafts - needlepoint, beadwork, working with polymer clay. I am not an expert in these areas by any means but love doing them all the same. I love the beach and love to get lost in bookstores. I have had some wonderful things happen to me in my life and had had my share of trials and tribulations healthwise. All combined have formed me into the person that I am now - I cherish both the good and the bad as I feel it all has a purpose. Some of the most wonderful things in my life are: meeting my husband of 20 plus years while on vacation in Hawaii back in 1982. This was a major turning point in my life. We moved to Canada for five years where we built a home and I went back to school to get my RN (I had been an LPN)... after five years I got homesick and we moved back to Pa. One of the heartaches was being dx with severe endometriosis which gave me terrible terrible pain and affected my life on a daily basis. Ultimatley, it led to infertility and a total hysterectomy. This was a low point in my life as I had always wanted to be a mother. Then.... a miracle happened... through a series of strange and coincidental events we found out about a baby who was born that needed to be adopted... there is much more to this story... but this wonderful child Ryan ended up in our home and we adopted him. He is my miricle child.
Life was full and joyful until I experienced downsizing at work in the late 90's. The stress led to a neurological disorder which doctors feared to be MS. (Definitely a low point in my life)... this led to job loss, depresssion and many medical tests etc... 6 years later after lifestyle changes and coming to terms.... my neuropathy and neurological symptoms have decreased and I am told I don't have MS. (High point of life)..... Other miracles in my life including recently meeting my sons 1/2 brother Jason and 1/2 sister Perry. Our family continues to grow and the love grows in our heart for them as well. I am happy and grateful for it all.
